Manual testing services in India
Why manual

Automation is great. It just can't do everything.

Automated tests only check what someone told them to check. The bugs that annoy customers most often live in the gaps between those checks.

New features change too fast to script

Writing automation for a screen that will be redesigned next sprint is wasted effort. A tester can cover it today.

Scripts don't notice what feels wrong

A confusing error message, a slow step, text that overlaps in German. None of these fail a test. All of them cost you customers.

Someone has to sign off the release

Before a big launch, most teams want a person to walk through the critical journeys and say "yes, this is ready".

Our services

What our manual QA engineers do

As a manual software testing company, we cover the full range of hands-on testing. Pick one area or let us handle all of it.

Functional testing of business-critical user journeys

Sign-up, search, checkout, payments, reports. Our functional testing services go through the journeys that make you money, step by step, and check that each one does what the requirement says.

Smoke and sanity testing for every build

Within an hour of a new build, we confirm the basics work. If login is broken, you hear about it before your team wastes a day testing anything else.

Regression testing for each release cycle

New code has a habit of breaking old features. Our regression testing services re-check what already worked, so a small fix in billing doesn't quietly break the invoice email.

Exploratory testing by experienced QA engineers

No script, just a goal and a time box. Our exploratory testing services put senior testers on your product to try odd inputs, unusual paths and the things nobody thought to write down.

UAT support and sign-off management

Business users are busy. Our user acceptance testing (UAT) services prepare the scenarios, guide your stakeholders through them, track feedback and collect formal sign-off.

Cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing

Our cross-browser testing services check your site on the browsers, phones and tablets your customers actually use, with real-device testing rather than emulators wherever it matters.

Risk-based test design with requirements traceability

When time is short, we test the riskiest areas first. A requirement traceability matrix shows which requirement each test covers, so nothing important gets skipped.

Test case design

How we write good test cases

Manual testing is only as good as the thinking behind it. Clicking around at random finds some bugs. Careful test case design finds the ones that matter.

Risk-based testing

We ask what would hurt most if it broke, and test that first and hardest.

Boundary value analysis

Bugs love edges. If a field accepts 1 to 100, we try 0, 1, 100 and 101.

Equivalence partitioning

Instead of testing every possible value, we group inputs that behave the same way and test one from each group. Fewer tests, same coverage.

Requirement traceability

Each test scenario links back to a requirement, so you can see at a glance what's covered.

How to outsource manual QA testing for a web app

Manual QA outsourcing works best when both sides know exactly what's expected. This is how a typical engagement starts.

  1. 1

    Learn the product

We read your requirements, use the app ourselves and ask a lot of questions. Usually this takes a few days.

  2. 2

    Design the tests

We write test scenarios and test cases, rank them by risk and map them to requirements. You review and approve.

  3. 3

    Run them

Smoke tests on each build, deeper functional and exploratory sessions on new features, and full regression before release.

  4. 4

    Log and retest

Bugs go into your tracker with steps, screenshots and video. We follow each one through the defect lifecycle and retest every fix.

  5. 5

    Sign off

Before each release you get a short report: what we tested, what's still open and our honest view on whether to ship.

Manual vs automation

When should you use manual testing, and when automation?

It isn't a contest. Most healthy QA setups use both. Here's a simple way to decide.

Choose manual testing for

  • New features that are still changing
  • Usability, layout and wording checks
  • Exploratory testing and edge cases
  • UAT and release sign-off
  • Localisation and visual checks across devices

Choose automation for

  • Stable flows you test on every release
  • Large data sets and repeated calculations
  • Smoke checks inside a CI pipeline
  • Load and performance tests
  • Regression suites that have grown too big to run by hand

Who we test for

Enterprise teams

Our UAT testing services for enterprise software coordinate testers across departments, keep a clear audit trail and get sign-off without endless email chains.

Healthcare

Manual testing for healthcare products means checking patient data, permissions and clinical workflows with great care. We document every test so you're ready when compliance asks.

Startups and SaaS

Your product changes weekly, which is exactly when manual testing earns its keep. We keep up with each release without slowing your developers down.

eCommerce

Checkout bugs cost real money every hour they're live. We test carts, payments, coupons and delivery rules across browsers and phones before every sale.

Pricing

How much does manual testing cost per hour?

You can pay by the hour, by the release or by the month. Most clients start with one and settle into another once they see how much testing they really need.

Hourly testing

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When should I use manual testing instead of automation testing?

Think about two things: how often the test gets repeated, and how often the feature changes. A checkout flow that hasn't changed in a year and gets tested every release? Automate it. A new onboarding screen the design team is still tweaking? Test it by hand for now. Anything that needs judgement, like whether an error message makes sense or a layout looks off on a small phone, should stay manual. In our experience, teams do best when they start manual and only automate what they keep repeating.

How much does manual testing cost per hour?

There isn't one number that fits everyone, and anyone who quotes you a rate without seeing your app is guessing. The price mostly comes down to experience. Routine regression can be handled by mid-level testers, while exploratory work or a healthcare product needs someone more senior. If you'll need testing every week, a monthly team nearly always costs less than hourly billing. Send us a short description of your app and we'll come back with a quote, usually the same day.

What is the difference between exploratory testing and scripted testing?

With scripted testing, the steps are written in advance and the tester follows them exactly, then checks the result against what was expected. It's repeatable, and it's how you prove a requirement works. Exploratory testing is looser. A senior tester gets a goal, say "try to break the refund process", and a fixed amount of time, then decides what to try next based on what they see. That's where the strange bugs turn up. Most of our projects include a bit of both.

How do you write good test cases?

Keep each test case focused on one thing. Give it a title someone can understand at a glance, list any setup it needs, write the steps in order and say exactly what should happen at the end. "Page works correctly" isn't an expected result. "Order confirmation email arrives within two minutes" is. Our quick check is simple: could a tester who joined yesterday run it without asking anyone? If not, it needs another pass.

How do I outsource manual QA testing for a web application?

Don't hand over everything at once. Pick one release or one part of the app and treat it as a trial. Give the testers a staging environment, access to your bug tracker and one person they can go to with questions. Agree early on what counts as a critical bug and who decides a release is ready. After three or four weeks you'll have a good feel for the quality of the work, and you can decide whether to expand.

Do you provide UAT services for enterprise software?

Yes. In large companies, UAT tends to stall because business users already have full-time jobs. We take the admin off their plate. We write the scenarios with each department, sit with users while they test (in person or on a call), keep all their feedback in one place and chase the sign-offs. It's far less painful when one person owns the process.

Why should I choose manual testing services in India?

The obvious answer is cost. The same budget pays for more testing hours, so you can afford to be thorough. The practical answer is time zones. If your developers are in Europe or the US, they can hand over a build at the end of their day, and by the time they log in the next morning, our test results are waiting.
