Test automation services in India

Most automation projects don't fail at the start. They fail six months in.

Writing the first hundred tests is the easy part. Keeping them useful is where things usually go wrong.

Tests fail for no clear reason

A test passes, then fails, then passes again with no code change. After a few weeks of this, developers stop looking at the results at all.

Nobody wants to maintain the suite

The engineer who wrote the framework has left. Every UI change breaks twenty tests, and fixing them always loses to feature work.

The suite takes hours to run

Tests run one after another on a single machine, so they only run at night. By morning, three people have merged on top of the bug.

Automation testing services we offer

We cover web and mobile test automation, APIs and the plumbing around them. Use us for one piece, or hand over the whole thing.

01

Selenium automation testing services

Still the safe choice for large Java or C# teams. We build new Selenium suites, and we also rescue old ones that have grown slow and brittle.

02

Playwright test automation services

Fast, stable and good at waiting for the page to be ready. For most new web projects, this is where we'd start.

03

Cypress end-to-end testing services

A favourite with front-end developers because the tests run right in the browser and are easy to debug. We set it up so your team actually enjoys using it.

04

Appium mobile test automation

One framework for both iOS and Android. We automate native and hybrid apps and run them on real phones, not just simulators.

05

API test automation

API tests are quick to run and rarely flaky, so they catch a lot of bugs cheaply. We use Postman, REST Assured or code-based tools, depending on your stack.

06

Regression suite automation

We take your manual regression checklist and turn it into automated tests, highest-risk journeys first, so you start saving time within weeks.

07

Parallel testing on cloud device and browser grids

Instead of one long queue, tests run side by side on BrowserStack or a similar grid. A suite that used to take all night can finish during a coffee break.

08

Automated test reporting and quality dashboards

Pass rates, automation coverage, slowest tests and flaky ones, all in one place. Managers get the big picture; developers get the failing line.

09

Self-healing test automation

When a button's ID changes, self-healing locators can often find it another way and flag the change for review, instead of failing the whole run.

How we build a test automation framework from scratch

Good test automation framework development is mostly about structure. Get it right early and adding the five-hundredth test is as easy as the fifth.

Page object model

Each screen gets its own class. When the login page changes, you update one file, not forty tests.

Data-driven testing

The same test runs with many sets of data from a file, so covering ten currencies doesn't mean writing ten tests.

Keyword-driven framework

Useful when non-developers need to write tests. Steps like "log in" or "add to cart" become reusable building blocks.

Test data management

Every test creates and cleans up its own data, so tests don't trip over each other.

Parallel execution and visual regression testing

Built in from day one, rather than bolted on when the suite gets slow.

tests/checkout.spec.ts
import { test, expect } from '@playwright/test';
import { CheckoutPage } from '../pages/checkout.page';

test('expired coupon is rejected', async ({ page }) => {
  const checkout = new CheckoutPage(page);
  await checkout.open();
  await checkout.applyCoupon('SPRING20');
  await expect(checkout.couponError)
    .toHaveText('This code has expired');
});

Short, readable tests. The messy details live in the page object, where they belong.

How to integrate automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline

CI/CD test automation means the right tests run at the right moment, without anyone remembering to start them. This is the setup we use most often for continuous testing.

1

Every pull request

Unit tests, API tests and a quick smoke suite. Developers get an answer before they've finished their tea.

2

Every merge to main

The full regression suite runs in parallel, plus visual checks on the pages that matter most.

3

Every night

Cross-browser and real-device runs on BrowserStack, where the slower, wider checks belong.

4

Before release

A quality gate. If key tests fail, the deploy stops and the dashboard shows exactly why.

We work with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and most other CI tools.

Which should you choose: Selenium, Playwright or Cypress?

We've built suites in all three, so we don't have a favourite to sell you. The right choice usually depends on your team more than the tool.

Selenium Playwright Cypress
Languages Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Ruby TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, .NET JavaScript, TypeScript
Browsers All major browsers Chromium, Firefox and WebKit Chrome-family and Firefox; WebKit is experimental
Parallel runs Through Selenium Grid or a cloud grid Built in Through Cypress Cloud or CI setup
Pick it when You have a big existing suite or a Java-heavy team You're starting fresh and want speed and stability Front-end developers will own the tests

Thinking of moving from Selenium to Playwright?

We migrate suites in stages, so your old tests keep running until the new ones have proved themselves.

Test automation ROI: when does it pay off?

Automation costs more up front than manual testing. It pays off once the tests have run enough times. A rough way to check:

Formula

hours saved per run × runs per year

minus

build cost + yearly maintenance

If you release every week or two, the numbers usually come out ahead within the first year. If you release twice a year, manual testing may still be the cheaper option, and we'll tell you so.

How we reduce flaky tests

A flaky test is worse than no test because it teaches people to ignore red builds. Here's what we do about it:

  • Use stable locators, like test IDs, instead of fragile CSS paths.
  • Wait for the right condition instead of fixed delays.
  • Give every test its own data so tests never interfere.
  • Track retries so hidden flakiness appears in reports.
  • Quarantine flaky tests immediately and fix them within the sprint.

Automation testing for startups and enterprises

The tools are the same. The priorities are very different.

Startups

Startups

You need a lean suite that covers sign-up, payments and the core feature, and doesn't slow anyone down. We keep it small on purpose and grow it as the product settles.

Enterprises

Enterprises

Thousands of tests, many teams and strict release rules. Here, test automation outsourcing works best with clear ownership, shared standards and dashboards everyone trusts.

Healthcare

Healthcare

Test automation for healthcare needs realistic data that's never real patient data. We build synthetic test data and keep detailed run logs that hold up in an audit.

Mobile apps

Mobile apps

Mobile app test automation with Appium, run across the phones and OS versions your users actually have, through a cloud device lab.

How much does test automation cost?

There are three common ways to work with us. Plenty of clients start with the first and move to the second.

Framework setup

₹45,000 fixed

We build the framework, automate your most important flows and connect it to CI. Your team takes it from there.

Most popular

Dedicated automation engineers

₹1,20,000 / month

Engineers who join your sprints, write new tests as features ship and keep the suite healthy.

Suite maintenance

₹35,000 / month

Already have a suite? We keep it green, fix flaky tests and update scripts when the app changes.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to automate regression testing?

Sooner than most people think, at least for the part that matters. A smoke suite covering login, search and checkout is usually running in CI within the first few weeks. The full regression suite of a mid-sized web app takes longer, often a few months. We work through it in order of risk, so the tests that save you the most time are the first ones you get.

How much does test automation cost?

It depends on how many flows you want covered, which platforms you support and whether you need web, mobile and API tests or just one of those. Building a framework is usually a fixed-price job. Ongoing work is billed monthly. Tell us a bit about your app and we'll send a proper estimate, not a ballpark that changes later.

When does test automation start to pay for itself?

Once the tests have run enough times to cover what it cost to build and maintain them. For a team releasing every week or two, that point often comes within the first year. A product that ships twice a year may never get there, and in that case we'd honestly suggest sticking with manual testing for now.

How do you reduce flaky tests in automation?

Most flakiness comes from three places: tests that guess how long to wait, tests that share data, and locators that break when the page layout shifts. We fix the cause rather than adding retries and hoping. When a test does turn flaky, it gets pulled out of the main run straight away, so it can't block anyone, and it's fixed in the same sprint.

Can you migrate our tests from Selenium to Playwright?

Yes, and we don't do it as one big switch. We move a handful of journeys first, run old and new side by side, and only retire the Selenium tests once the Playwright versions have been stable for a while. It's also a good moment to delete tests that no longer earn their place.

Do you automate mobile app testing with Appium?

We do. Appium lets us write one set of tests for iOS and Android, which keeps maintenance down. We run them on real devices through a cloud device lab, because simulators miss things like keyboard overlaps and permission pop-ups.

Can you automate API testing with Postman?

Yes. If your team already keeps Postman collections, we turn them into proper automated tests with assertions and run them in your pipeline through Newman or the Postman CLI. For bigger API suites, we sometimes suggest a code-based tool instead, since it's easier to review and version.

Is AI-driven test automation worth it?

In some places, yes. Self-healing locators save real maintenance time, and AI tools are handy for suggesting test ideas or drafting test data. We're more careful about letting AI write whole test suites unchecked. Every test still needs a person to confirm it's checking the right thing.
