Advanced DevOps services

Advanced DevOps consulting company for teams that have outgrown manual releases.

If deploys still mean a late night, a long checklist and someone saying "don't touch anything", we can help. Softfix is a DevOps consulting company in India. We first check how your team ships code right now. After that, we set up the pipeline and tools you're missing and show your people how to use them.

We work on AWS, Azure, GCP On-premise servers included Hybrid setups covered

Where does your team sit?

Five stages of DevOps maturity, from fully manual to fully self-service.

1

Manual

One or two people know how to release, and they do it by hand.

2

Scripted

There are a few deploy scripts. People still check every step manually.

3

Automated

Each commit triggers a CI/CD run, defined as pipeline as code.

4

Measured (Goal)

The team tracks DORA metrics and uses them to plan work.

5

Optimised

With platform engineering in place, teams release without waiting on ops.

The difference

Traditional deployment vs DevOps: what actually changes

The tools matter, but the bigger difference is how work flows from a developer's laptop to your customers.

Traditional deployment

  • Big releases once a month, planned weeks ahead
  • Servers set up by hand, so no two are quite the same
  • Testing happens at the end, when fixes cost the most
  • When something breaks, people hunt through logs on each machine
  • Security reviews hold up the release at the last minute

With DevOps

  • Small changes go out through continuous delivery whenever they're ready
  • Infrastructure as Code and configuration management keep every server identical
  • Tests run on every commit, so problems show up while they're cheap
  • Central monitoring points you to the cause in one place
  • Security checks run inside the pipeline, long before release day
DevOps implementation services

DevOps implementation services, from first assessment to daily support

We're a DevOps services company, and our work covers the full stretch, from the first look at your setup to keeping it running afterwards. There's no need to sign up for all of it on day one. Pick the service that solves today's problem and we can talk about the rest when you're ready.

01

DevOps maturity assessment and roadmap

Before we change anything, we want to understand how you work. Our engineers spend a few days with your developers and ops team and follow a real change from commit to release. Each part of the process gets a score. You then get a roadmap that puts the fixes in order of priority and explains why each one made the list.

02

CI/CD pipeline implementation

Push code and the pipeline picks it up straight away, compiling and testing it before packaging it for release. We store the pipeline in your repository as code, which means any change to it goes through review like the rest of your work. Our first job is to take the manual steps out of your releases. Once your team trusts the process, we can switch on continuous deployment.

03

DevOps for on-premise and hybrid environments

Plenty of companies keep certain systems on their own servers. It might be a cost decision, a latency issue or a rule from a regulator. We automate those machines just as we would a cloud account. And if some of your workloads live on AWS, Azure or GCP, we connect both sides so your team can manage them the same way.

VMware Kubernetes Ansible Terraform
04

DevOps cost optimisation and FinOps

First we look for waste in your cloud account, like servers nobody uses or machines far bigger than they need to be. Those get shut down or resized. We also add budget alerts and label resources by team, which lets each team see what it's spending. From then on, we sit down with you once a month to review costs and keep cloud cost optimisation on track.

05

DevOps training and team enablement

Our workshops use your own code and your own pipeline. Engineers make real changes during the sessions while one of our team guides them.

06

DevOps compliance for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA

An auditor will ask to see who approved each change, who has access to what, and where the logs are kept. We set the pipeline up to record all of that as work happens. When audit time comes, the evidence is already there.

07

DevOps monitoring and support

Our team keeps an eye on your systems and responds when an alert fires. Response times are part of the contract. Each month you get a short report on incidents and the changes we made.

Point of comparison DevOps as a service In-house DevOps team
Getting started Work begins within days of signing Hiring alone can take months
Range of skills Pipeline, cloud, security and monitoring people available as needed Limited to whoever you manage to hire
Monthly cost One fixed fee you can scale up or down Salaries, tools, training and the cost of replacing people who leave
When people are away We plan cover, so work doesn't stop Holidays and resignations can leave gaps
Later on We train your hires and hand everything over Knowledge stays with your staff from the start
Timeline

How long does a DevOps transformation take?

Honestly, it depends on how many apps you have, how old the setup is and how much time your team can give. Here's the usual shape. We fill in real dates after the assessment.

Stage 1 — Assess

Around [2 weeks]

Interviews, a look through your pipelines and servers, and a maturity score for each area.

Stage 2 — Lay the groundwork

Around [4 to 6 weeks]

Infrastructure goes into code, environments start to match, and the first pipeline goes live.

Stage 3 — Automate and measure

Around [2 to 3 months]

More services move onto CI/CD, security checks join the pipeline and DORA tracking begins.

Stage 4 — Hand over or keep going

Your choice

Your team takes the wheel after training, or we stay on for monitoring and support.

DORA Metrics

How to measure DevOps success

DORA metrics come from the DevOps Research and Assessment programme, now part of Google Cloud. There are four of them, and together they show how quickly and how reliably you release. We take a reading before work starts and again after each stage.

Deployment frequency

How often do you ship to production?

Teams with good automation release small changes often, instead of saving them up.

Lead time for changes

How long from commit to live?

Shorter lead times mean fixes and features reach customers sooner.

Change failure rate

How many releases cause a problem?

Automated tests and gradual rollouts keep this number low as you speed up.

Time to restore service

How fast do you recover?

Good monitoring and quick rollbacks turn hours of downtime into minutes.

Checklist

DevOps assessment checklist

Tick the statements that are true for your team today. It's a quick self-check, not a full audit, but it shows where to look first.

Who we work with

Who we usually work with

DevOps consulting for startups

You need releases that don't break, on a budget that makes sense. We set up something simple now that won't need throwing away when you grow.

DevOps for healthcare

Hospitals, clinics and health-tech apps hold sensitive patient records. Our setups encrypt that data, limit who can open it and log every access, in line with HIPAA requirements.

Companies not on the cloud yet

A DevOps roadmap for a company without cloud starts on your own servers: version control, automated builds and repeatable setups. Moving to the cloud can come later, or never.

Enterprises with many teams

With platform engineering, all your teams deploy the same way using shared templates. Your security and compliance staff approve those templates once instead of reviewing each team separately.

Handover

DevOps handover and team enablement services

We don't want you stuck with us forever. When the work is done, we make sure your own people can run it, change it and fix it without calling us.

Architecture notes and runbooks written for your team, not for us
Pairing sessions where your engineers make real changes while we watch
A recorded walkthrough of every pipeline and environment
Support for a set period after handover, in case questions come up

FAQ

Questions people ask us

How long does a DevOps transformation take?
A small team with a few apps often sees real changes in the first two or three months. Bigger companies with older systems need more time, and the work usually runs in phases. You'll get a firm timeline after the assessment.
How much does DevOps consulting cost?
It depends on the size of your setup and what you want us to do. An assessment is a fixed one-time fee. Ongoing work is billed monthly. You'll always get a written quote before anything starts.
Can you help if we don't use the cloud at all?
Yes. Version control, automated builds, configuration management and monitoring all work on your own servers. And if you move to the cloud one day, having this in place makes the move a lot simpler.
Should we use DevOps as a service or hire our own team?
If you need results soon and don't have enough work for several full-time DevOps engineers, a service is usually the better deal. Once your needs grow, you can hire in-house and we'll train them and hand over.
Do you help with SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA?
Yes. We put the technical controls in place, for example change approvals, access logs and encryption, inside your pipelines and servers. Your auditor or compliance lead still owns the audit, and we work with them on it.
What happens when the project ends?
That's up to you. Some clients take over after we train their team and hand over the documents, with a support period afterwards. Others keep us on a managed DevOps plan.
